DIY- Celine Inspired T-Shirt

Happy Sunday/Mothers Day loves,

Recently I posted a picture on Facebook of Bajan superstar Rihanna rocking a Celine t-shirt that I have been loving, as you would  have it the cost of said t-shirt surpasses the US$400 mark which is mind blowing, therefore in order to get the look for less  I decided to embark on a DIY project which was easy and  more  importantly budget-friendly.....

Images sourced from Google, collage done by yours truly

The Celine Image was obtained Here
STEPS:
1.Place the logo cut out on magazine or book, the magazine will act as a solid surface for a smooth transfer and will also prevent ink from seeping on the back of the shirt.
2.Place the aforementioned setup  inside of the shirt,(please note the shirt should be thin enough so that the image of logo is visible)
3.Using the thin tip of the helix marker trace the outline of logo, then fill in the letters with the thick tip of the marker.

After taking the price of the shirt and the marker into consideration my overall cost was under JA$600 which  is a far cry from US$400 and although its not perfect  I am pretty pleased with the results, let me know if you would like to see an outfit post featuring this DIY t-shirt.

Thanks as always for reading

  1. Looks great! You could also print it onto iron on paper (which you can get a office supply stores) and iron it on.

  11. WOWOOW, I cannot believe how much that shirt costs, who would spend that much on a plain tee like that? You can't even see a difference between yours and the real one!

Found you via the bloghop, please feel free to check my blog out too!
