Review - Sleek Acid I-Divine Palette

Sleek Makeup is a popular cosmetic brand based in the UK . I have been  eyeing a few items from this line  for a while and  finally took the plunge and picked up my first Sleek product ....the Acid I-Divine Palette which I purchased at Significant Details in Kingston

Product Features - The Acid I-Divine is a mineral based eye shadow palette which  consists of 12  shadows,  ranging from bold, matte, neon shades to more subtle shimmer shades.

Overall Experience-I was instantly blown away by the vibrancy of the colours upon  opening the palette. I must admit though that the matte neon shades are somewhat dificult to work with, however the use of a good primer coupled with an excellent  eye shadow base is sure to make the application process much easier and ultimately  facilitate excellent colour payoff. In conclusion I would recommend this palette for those girls who dare to go bold with their  eye makeup looks.

What was your first Sleek Makeup purchase?

Review- Avon Fruity Lip Juice Lip Gloss

Top- Watermelon
   Bottom- Fresh Grape

Product features- The Avon Fruity lip Juice Lip gloss is  described as sheer, high shine, coloured gloss  with fruity flavour and smell that last for hours. There are 8 shades and each tube is approximately 0.5 fl oz

Experience- I expected the glosses to be sticky but that was not the case.I like the fact that they  are very moisturizing and the  wonderful smell  is an added bonus. In general these glosses are of superb quality and are prefect for those ladies who are on a budget. You can contact  your Avon representative or visit the   Avon website to get yourself a tube or two if like you these glosses.

PS- Its been a year since I started blogging and I really appreciate each and every reader/visitor.

Review- Matte N. A. Nail Polish by Makeup Cherimoya...

If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know that I have a slight weakness when it comes on to nail polishes and so I recently acquired some new additions to my collection from a relatively new cosmetic line called  Makeup Cherimoya.

Left to Right: Suspense, Western, Musical

Product Features-These matte nail polishes are from the specialty lacquer line which has over 30 shades to choose from. The Matte N. A. polish  formulation is free from Formaldehyde, Toluene and DBP.

Experience- I really enjoy the fact that the  nail polishes are fast drying I was skeptical at first because the consistency was a bit thick upon application. The smell of the polish was somewhat overbearing therefore I highly recommend  using said  in a well ventilated area.I love the matte finish of the polishes however in order to maintain the matte finish I had to skip  top coat which resulted in some chipping.Overall I really do like the fact that the colours are not misleading in that what you see in the bottle is what you see on your nails.

Have you tried these Nail Polishes  if so what are your thoughts?
